Authorities in Eastern North Carolina issued an Amber Alert Tuesday morning for a missing 3-year-old girl they said disappeared over the weekend.
According to the Boiling Springs Lakes Police Department, Khloe Marlow was last seen about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at a home on South Shore Drive with her grandmother. The girl has not been seen since, law enforcement said.
Boiling Spring Lakes is in Brunswick County, just over a 30-minute drive southwest of the coastal city of Wilmington.
According to the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons, the agency who issues Amber Alerts in the state, officials said Khloe is believed to be with her grandmother, 49-year-old Jamie Lee Marlow.
It was not immediately known if charges were pending in the case.
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety, also investigating the case said, Marlow left a home on South Shore Drive with her grandmother and that the pair has not been heard from since.
What does Khloe Marlow look like?
Law enforcement described Khloe as standing three feet tall and weighing about 37 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
The girl and her grandmother disappeared in a red Kia Sportage SUV with the North Carolina license plate: PMN-9366.
A complete description of the child's grandmother was not available, and police did not provide a photo of her.
Anyone with information regarding the case should call 911.
