It's nice to have a friend like Taylor Swift.
The "Bad Blood" singer was a shoulder for Brittany Mahomes to lean on after her husband Patrick Mahomes suffered an ankle injury during the Kansas City Chiefs' Nov. 4 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
As the injury occurred, Taylor, 34—who was there to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce alongside mom Andrea Swift, brother Austin Swift and Travis' mom Donna Kelce—could be seen putting her arm around Brittany, 29, who looked concerned as she watched what was unfolding on the field.
Taylor then cupped her hand over her face in shock as they attempted to figure out how Patrick was feeling as he limped off the field from the injury to his left ankle in the game's fourth quarter.
Luckily for Brittany and Chiefs fans alike, the 29-year-old—who shares kids Sterling, 3, Bronze, 23 months, and is expecting a third baby with his wife of two years—was able to quickly shake off the injury. But Patrick did admit he was concerned there for a moment.
"You feel the pain, and that scares you," he told reporters after the match. "'Cause obviously I've dealt with ankles before, but just kinda laid there. And as time kinda went on the pain subsided—what's the word? Subsided, yeah. Big word for me."
He added, "But it did and so I just kinda got back to it and got back moving again and felt comfortable going out there."
A hurt ankle didn't stop Patrick, Travis and the rest of the Chiefs from beating Tampa Bay, giving Kansas City their eighth victory this season.
It was also a big night for Taylor, who was back at Arrowhead Stadium for her first game since wrapping up her final U.S. show on her Eras Tour. And as with many of her game day appearances, the "Cruel Summer" singer proved what a strong bond she and Brittany have.
And that bond has only grown over the past year as they have enjoyed many double dates with Travis and Patrick, most recently at the U.S. Open in New York in August, where the two were seen embracing and cheering on the athletes.
For more from Taylor's Chiefs outings, keep reading.
While supporting Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24, 2023, her first-ever NFL game at Arrowhead Stadium, Taylor Swift sported DÔEN's white Lois Tank and Ksubi's distressed denim shorts, which she paired with a Chiefs windbreaker and matching New Balance sneakers.
For the Chiefs' Oct. 1, 2023 game against the New York Jets, held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Taylor wore Area's denim shorts, which quickly sold out. The singer completed the look with Christian Louboutin boots and Gant's relaxed leather shirt.
And Taylor couldn't forget her signature red lip for the star-studded game.
For the Chiefs' Oct. 12, 2023 game, where she spent time with Travis' dad Ed Kelce, Taylor wore a Chiefs jacket from WEAR, a line by Erin Andrews (who Travis has credited for connecting him with Taylor).
Taylor, who also spent time with quarterback Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany Mahomes at the game, sported a Balenciaga corset top underneath the Chiefs jacket.
Taylor had an extra special accessory on her wrist for the Chiefs' Oct. 22, 2023 game: An Erimish bracelet with Travis' jersey number on it.

On Dec. 3, 2023, Taylor sported a long red fleece jacket over a black high neck top, paired with her signature red lip.
The singer was all smiles as she watched the game with Brittany.

For her ninth Chiefs game on Dec. 31, 2023, Taylor sported a cream varsity jacket bearing the team's logo and a patch that read "Tay-Tay."
During a January 2024 freezing Kansas City Chiefs-Miami Dolphins game in Kansas City, Mo., Taylor cheered on her boyfriend and his team while wearing a custom-made puffer coat made to look like a Kelce Chiefs jersey, designed by Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
The Grammy winner looked comfy and cozy in her Guest in Residence sweater as she snuggled up to Travis following the Chiefs' AFC Championship win on Jan. 28, 2023.
Taylor wore a black Dion Lee crochet corset and AREA crystal-slit jeans to the 2024 Super Bowl, where she watched Travis and the Chiefs beat out the San Francisco 49ers in a 25-22 game.
For the Chiefs' first home game since their Super Bowl win, Taylor rocked a with a Versace denim corset top, GRLFRND jean shorts from Revolve and thigh-high red latex boots. She completed the look with a Louis Vuitton handbag.
