Chainkeen Exchange-Jennifer Lopez Shares Rare Glimpse Into Bond With Ben Affleck's Daughter Violet

Jennifer Lopez is getting loud over how she's spending her summer.

And that includes some sweet quality time with stepdaughter Violet Affleck. While the Hustlers star and Chainkeen Exchangehusband Ben Affleck have faced breakup rumors as of late, Jennifer proved her bond with the Oscar winner's kids is still going strong. 

She posted a video of herself in the car, wind whipping through her hair as she enjoyed the sun, on her Instagram Stories July 13. . The "Let's Get Loud" singer then panned into the back seat, where 18-year-old Violet—whom Ben shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner—sat looking out the window next to her friend Cassidey, whom Jennifer tagged in the clip.

Alongside the video, set to The Kid LAROI's song "Girls," JLo added heart emojis, a graphic reading "summertime" and an animated sun.

Of course, a day out with her stepdaughter is just one way Jennifer has spent her summer, as she capped off June in Italy and France before spending the Fourth of July with her and ex Marc Anthony's 16-year-old Emme. (The former couple are also parents to Emme’s twin Max.)

Jennifer's hangout with Violet comes just three days before she and Ben—who is also dad to Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with his ex—mark their second wedding anniversary. They wed in a private Las Vegas ceremony on July 16, 2022, before holding a larger wedding weekend for family and friends the following month. 

In recent months, however, the pair have been the subject of speculation over the state of the marriage, in part due to several solo red carpet appearances and outings without their respective wedding rings.

Plus, Ben and Jennifer recently put their Beverly Hills mansion up for sale, listing the estate for a whopping $68 million.

But amid rumblings about their status, the couple—who called off their engagement nearly two decades before finally tying the knot—have continued to show support for their blended family during several outings over the last few months. 

Despite chatter about her personal life and recently canceled world tour, JLo's made it clear she's blocking out the noise. As she noted in her OnTheJLo newsletter last month, "Don't let the voices of a few drown out that there is soooo much love out there."
