Erica Ash, who appeared on Logo's "The Big Gay Sketch Show" in the mid-2000s before going on to make a name for herself in Hollywood with TV roles in "Mad TV," "Survivor's Remorse" and BET's "Real Husbands of Hollywood," has died. She was 46.
Ash's family said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline on Monday that she died Sunday following a long battle with an unspecified cancer.
"Erica was an amazing woman and talented entertainer who touched countless lives with her sharp wit, humor and genuine zest for life,” the statement read. "Her memory will live eternally in our hearts."

After snagging a recurring role on the first two seasons of the Rosie O'Donnell-produced "Big Gay Sketch Show" from 2006-2008, Ash joined Season 14 of "Mad TV" and landed the role of dancer Kendra Brooks in 2013's "Scary Movie V," which saw her star opposite Ashley Tisdale.
